Jürgen is Managing Director of Geneva-based Cordée Consulting. He has held leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry and has been CEO of private and public biotech firms. Jürgen was in charge of Eli Lilly’s critical care business in Europe and he recently served on the management board of a big data/AI firm active in life sciences.
Jürgen obtained his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Bonn.
In his 30 years in the European and global pharma business, Jürgen has gained broad health economic experience in assignments in clinical research, medical, health outcomes, marketing, sales and general management in Europe and the USA.

Health Economic Evaluations – Concepts and Principles
Lieven Annemans is a Senior Professor of Health Economics at the Faculty of Medicine at Ghent University, Belgium. He has 20 years of experience in international health economics research. For many years he is a well sought expert consultant and lecturer in health technology assessment (HTA). He was advisor to the Belgian Minister of Health from 2001 to 2003 and president of the Flemish health council from 2003 to 2009. He is Past-President of ISPOR (International Society of PharmacoEconomics and Outcomes Research). He published more than 250 papers and several books on health economics and HTA.
