Why should I participate first in MODULE I?

If you want to get the diploma, the completion of this base module is mandatory. Besides, it creates the foundation for a broader understanding of the complex field of Health Outcomes Research and Health Economy.

What is this course about? What will I learn?

We will give a broader insight of the aims and motives of specific actors who are involved in reimbursement decisions. Furthermore, we will discuss current trends in health care in Western European and CEE countries. Another focus will be on the deeper understanding of Health Technology Assessment and its influence on pricing and reimbursement decisions.

After the course you will have a deep and professional understanding of the motives and influences of the different stakeholders in the broad field of health economy.

Who is sharing his/her knowledge and expertise?

The Lecturers are international experts with an excellent reputation from academia, industry and governmental institutions.

The scientific coordinators are Lieven Annemans, MSc, PhD, University of Ghent and Jürgen Raths, MD, Managing Director of Cordée Consulting, international experts in the field of health economics.
