Andras Fehervary is an advocacy, market access and public affairs strategist with 25 years’ operational and leadership experience in life sciences, who contributed to more than 20 drug launches and designed market shaping and policy advocacy campaigns around key innovation and access priorities.

Andras most recently served as Corporate Vice President and Global Head Public & Government Affairs for Boehringer-Ingelheim. He previously held senior functional leadership positions with Amgen, Novartis with Eli Lilly & Co.   Andras advised the European People’s Party (EPP) group of European Parliament on healthcare issues. He was a member of the EU Committee of Experts on Rare Diseases (EUCERD) where he contributed to the EU’s rare disease policy. He was a founder of Rare Cancers Europe. He is since 2007 an active member of the Ad Hoc Council (The European Business Government Relations Council). He has authored a number of publications in health, human rights and services and is a frequent moderator and speaker.

Andras holds an MBA from INSEAD; a MA in international law from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IUHED); and a M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, a BA and Graduate Diploma were from Johns Hopkins University and JHU SAIS Europe. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in health policy at Semmelweis University in Budapest.

Andras speaks native English, fluent Italian and Hungarian, and proficient German and French. He is married with two children, and based in Basel, Switzerland.
