This academic course for health care experts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries took place from 8th to 9th December 2023 in cooperation in with Emirates Health Economics Society (EHES). Delegates from the following countries participated in this course: UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain.<br \/>\nMany thanks to our VSCR faculty:<br \/>\nProf. Lieven Annemans, Senior Professor of Health Economics, Ghent University, Belgium; past president ISPOR. He was advisor to the Belgian Minister of Health, and president of the Flemish health council.<br \/>\nProf. Heinrich Klech, Managing Director VSCR, Internal medicine specialist. Founder of VSCR, an international Center of Excellence for Clinical Research, Health Economy and accredited postgraduate medical education.<br \/>\nDr. D\u00e1vid Dank\u00f3, Managing partner of Ideas &#038; Solutions, Hungary, earned his degree in economics from Corvinus University of Budapest. He served as Deputy Director of Reimbursement at the Hungarian National Health Insurance Fund.<br \/>\nDr. M\u00e1rk Moln\u00e1r, Managing partner of Ideas &#038; Solutions, Hungary, and research fellow at the Corvinus University of Budapest. He earned his degree in medicine from Semmelweis University and in economics from the West\u2013Hungarian University.
