Technical developments, molecular biology and genetics play a major role.<br \/>\nThe second VSCR Science Summit Ophthalmology will continue as a series of events in a new format, focusing on the latest developments of the last 1-2 years. The current topics are the following: eyelid surgery, pros and cons of laser-guided cataract surgery, management of vitreous opacities (treating or observing), as well as a specific symposium on presbyopia.<br \/>\nThe aim is to present a practice-relevant update, for which top experts could be gained as speakers.
