Physician, specialized in General Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Medicine with over 30 years of experience in different senior operational and managerial functions in pharmaceutical companies, CROs and academic sites, focussing on clinical trial management, ethical and regulatory aspects.
Since January 2003 she has her own pharmaceutical development and site management support consulting company.
Dr. Klingmann is Chairman of the Board of the European Forum for Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP). On behalf of EFGCP she was and is involved in different FP7- and IMI-funded projects (ICREL, PatientPartner, PharmaTrain, EUPATI, Combacte-Magnet) and with her company in the FP7-funded paediatric LENA project and the IMI-project SPRINTT. Currently Dr. Klingmann is also President of PharmaTrain Federation.
Dr. Klingmann is Module Chair in the post-graduate Master Course in Regulatory Affairs at the University of Bonn, Germany, and is lecturer in the Diploma Course in Clinical Trial Practices and in the ECPM course at University of Basel and in the Pharmed course at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.

Peter Stonier is a pharmaceutical physician with over 35 years of experience in medicines development, clinical research, life-cycle management & drug safety / pharmacovigilance. He was medical adviser, medical director & board member of the Hoechst Marion Roussel group of companies, UK (now Sanofi) between 1977 & 2000, & group medical director and QPPV of Amdipharm plc 2004-2013. He is currently an independent pharmaceutical physician and consultant in pharmaceutical medicine.
He is Director of Education & Training at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine & national Programme Director for pharmaceutical medicine specialty training (PMST). He is Board Member of the PharmaTrain Federation, developing & introducing internationally a platform of education & training for all in medicines development / clinical research: industry, academia, clinical practice (clinical trial investigators).
Peter was a founding Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Royal Colleges of Physicians UK (1989) & made a major contribution to achieving recognition & legal listing for the medical Specialty of Pharmaceutical Medicine in 2002.
He is visiting Professor in Pharmaceutical Medicine at Kings College London, Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Whilst visiting professor at University of Surrey, the first Masters programme (MSc) in Pharmaceutical Medicine was introduced under his co-direction.
He is past President of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM), Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK, past President of the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP), past Chair of the British Association of Pharmaceutical Physicians (BrAPP) and past President of the Royal Society of Medicine’s Section for Pharmaceutical Medicine & Research.
Peter Stonier graduated in physiology (BSc 1st Class Hons) with a PhD in protein chemistry (inborn errors of metabolism), Universities of Birmingham & Sheffield, UK, 1969. He studied medicine at the Manchester Medical School, qualifying MBChB with honours in 1974.
His publications include texts in pharmaceutical medicine & edited works in human psychopharmacology, clinical research & paediatric clinical research, medical affairs & careers in pharmaceutical medicine.
